Deviation Actions
Okay, lately I've been approached by a few people asking me questions that quite frankly I have had a few times. And right now, I am feeling rather bothered by them. So without naming names, I'll just go and write down a few FAQs and my thoughts on them. PLEASE read these before asking any more questions, as it will make things easier for the both of us, 'kay?
Q: Do you take requests? / Could you draw (insert name of character)?
A: Most of the time; no. I am very busy most of the time and I have trouble getting other stuff done already as it is. I DO take commissions, you can check the link in the StarHill Depot (further down this journal) for more information.
Q: May I use your characters in my own projects? (Ex. fora, RPs, fiction, comics etc.)?
A: I've been getting this question a LOT and my answer will always be no. I prefer to keep my own characters to myself and not have someone else decide storylines and/or development for them. Even if you make me an admin or put me in charge, I will say no. Please respect that.
Q: May I use your art for (insert objective)?
A: It really depends on what it is, but I usually prefer if you would not.
Q: May I draw fanart of your characters?
A: That's okay, I guess. Though I've had hate art in the past
Q: I've got this project going on. Interested?
A: No most of the time. No offense, but I am always very busy
Q: Can I get your MSN?
A: There is a reason why I put the "Don't as me, I'll ask you" line down. I will not give my IM to just anyone, since I rather get to know people first before doing so.
Q: Will you be my friend?
A: That really is a strange question. Do you ask such a thing in real life too? I cannot decide one two three whether I will be your friend.
Q: I saw/know you from *somewheresomewhere* and I'd like to talk to you! Shall I send you a PM/Email?
A: Comments and questions like this make me really uneasy, so please don't. I hate talking to people I barely know and especially through things like PMs. It makes me feel terribly encroached upon my personal space.
More questions will be put up as soon as they come up. I'll keep you informed on them.

About SMRPG and other things
So it's been a long time since I've made a journal here, but I felt I needed to in order to update on some things. While I do check DA on a daily basis, I have resorted to using this website as a portfolio of sorts where I post the more polished and finished artwork. It's great to see people like what I do, even if what I make isn't always what you were followed me for. And on that note, that's why I put SMRPG in the title here. Yes, I know of the remake and I have finished the main story recently. The game is absolutely amazing and pretty much everything I could have wanted. So why did I not go absolutely bonkers here when the game was announced? Considering I used to be called Genolover, you'd think I'd be jumping

A F1T7 stream this sunday!
You read that right! After a long time of not streaming anything F1T7-related, I’ve decided to try and break that cycle by devoting an art stream to the blog this sunday. I’ll be attempting -live- to revamp one or more of the main seven dwarfs, so you get to watch your poor admin struggle to put new faces on old familiar ones. It’ll be tough, so I hope to have some friendly folks in chat cheering me on : ) I’ll post a link to my Twitch channel when I plan to go live this sunday, which will be around 7 PM CET. No longer making Moomin art
Hey everyone, After thinking for a long time, I've decided that I will no longer be making Moomin art. The art that is in my gallery will also either be deleted or moved to storage. Let me explain why. Some time ago, a friend of mine who was also a Moomin fan, was sued by the Moomin company. There were a multitude of reasons. Here are the ones that I know of: 1) Creating a hub for a service that allows people to download/consume Moomin-related media. Yes, this sounds incredibly infringing of Moomin's IP and I am not trying to deny that. But the thing is, Moomin-related media has very poor syndication. It's near impossible to get your hands on either physical media or watch anything on tv or a streaming service. There are tons of Moomin-related visual media that never got to see the light of day beyond what area they were orginally showcased in and my friend simply wanted to offer Moomin fans a chance to enrich themselves with everything the franchise had to offer, without making a

You know I had issues myself with question 2 concerning a drawing of mine, but I guess it's a bit different because it's more of a creature rather than a character. So as long as they copyright it to me it's all good. : o
