Raise your hand if you have seen this cartoon when you were little *does so*

I recently got my hands on some Eek! the Cat cartoons and watched them with pangs of great nostalgia. So I couldn't resist to draw Sharky. Always loved that little pesky sharkdog <3

Doodle in OpenCanvas.

Enjoy!

*raises hand and jumps*

OMG I soooo remember this show! (used to watch it back when I was eight). Dude this was like one of my Saturday morning childhood gems, and I used to watch it along with Tom and Jerry Kids. :star:

Sharky was a pretty awesome character. I liked how there were a few eps where he and Eek! would team up and save the day instead of Sharky just terrorizing Eek! for the fun of it. Cx

I also remember that Terrible Thunderlizards cartoon that aired as a segment with it. :XD:

Aww, Eek. I remember that and Bobby's World being the hit Fox cartoons back in the day. And besides dealing with this vicious pup, poor Eek always had to deal with people calling Anabelle fat, to which there was that usual reply of "Really?" Oh, his sad naivety. :lmao:

Looks real polished for a doodle. :D

I loved Eek for the fact that he was so sweet, it actually got him into trouble XD It's also cool that he is so nice, the devil himself is scared of him.

They really don't make cartoons now like they used to do in the past, huh?

No, they definitely don't. It's bad enough Cartoon Network airs programming that isn't a cartoon. But I guess that fact alone tells you about the quality of American animation nowadays. Even though I know you don't necessarily see that firsthand. LOL But there really aren't blocks of new animated shows like there used to be for kids on any network here.

I did watch this cartoon along with my brother and sister but when I grew older I started to like it less and less. Nevertheless, nice job on teh Sharky, he looks like straight from the cartoon!

*raises hand* I remember! As a kid I absolutely loved this show. To the point where I threw a tantrum if I happened to occasionally miss an episode. :XD:

Ah, happy memories...
